Schedules and Rates

The day-care rate is established by the Ministère de la Famille. The parental contribution amount for children who attend subsidized childcare was changed on January,2022. The parental contribution is now made up of a basic contribution of $8.70 per day, per child, and an additional contribution adjusted to family income. In return for the reduced contribution, the child receives educative day‑care services for a continued care period of a maximum of 10 hours a day, snacks and a lunch meal, when the child is kept during the periods of time planned for the distribution of said snacks and meal.

All educative material used as well as all other goods and services made available to children while the day-care services are rendered will be offered to the children by the CPE. Certain additional fees, according to the Law on educative day-care services to children, may apply.
